Account Deletion

This page explains how to delete your Lokos AI account, the one you use in the Lokos AI mobile app (Android and iOS) and the Lokos AI client portal operated by Lokos AI LLC, and what happens to your data when you do.

How to delete your account

From the app: open the Lokos AI app, go to Account, choose Delete account, review what is deleted and kept, confirm your identity by signing in again (or entering your password) and confirm the deletion. The request is processed immediately and you are signed out on every device.

By email: if you can no longer sign in, send a request to maria@lokos.ai from the email address linked to your account, with the subject "Delete my Lokos AI account". We verify that the request comes from the account holder before acting on it and confirm by email once it is done. We respond within the deadlines required by applicable law and in any case within 30 days.

If you own an organization in Lokos AI, transfer ownership to another member first (from Team in the app), or the deletion is stopped until the organization has another owner.

What is deleted

  • Your name, email address, phone number and profile details.
  • Your preferences, notification settings, sign-in methods (password, Google, Apple) and authenticator enrollment.
  • Your membership and access to every organization.
  • Analytics events tied to your account are disassociated from your identity.

What is kept, and for how long

Deleting your account does not erase records that your organizations or the law require us to retain. These are kept with restricted access and are not used for any other purpose:

  • Contracts, signed proposals, invoices and payment records, for the period required by tax and accounting law (usually 7 years).
  • Documents, requests and project activity that belong to an organization you were a member of, because they are the organization's records.
  • Security and audit logs, for up to 12 months.
  • Backups, which are overwritten on a rolling schedule within 90 days.

Deleting data without closing your account

You can remove documents you uploaded from the app at any time. To request the deletion of other specific data while keeping your account, email maria@lokos.ai and describe the data concerned; we review the request under the same rules and timelines as above.
